Bacon Apple Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 natural, humanly raised pork chops

  • 1 lb. nitrate free, uncured bacon

  • 2 fuji apples

  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice apples then set aside.

  2. In a frying pan over medium heat cook bacon.

  3. Remove from the pan and reserve bacon drippings.

  4. Once cooled, chop up bacon.

  5. Season pork with sea salt and pepper then add to pan with about 1 tbsp. of bacon grease.

  6. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side or until done.

  7. Remove from pan and add in apples and cinnamon.

  8. Cook until apples are softened then add in chopped bacon and applesauce.

  9. Simmer for a few minutes until warm.

  10. Top pork chops with bacon and apple mixture then enjoy!
