Macro Friendly Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Chocolate and peanut butter is a true match made in heaven.

If you don't agree we can't be friends.

No but really, there's just something about the combo of chocolate and peanut butter that really hits the spot.  Of course Reese's is the go to treat that has the two flavors perfectly joined.  The healthiest?  Probably not.  One every once in awhile is just fine but if you're like me and you like to enjoy the deliciousness of chocolate and peanut butter more often, you should definitely try these macro friendly Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups! 

Lower in fat, no artificial ingredients, chemicals or extra added sugar.

Macro Friendly Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

1 tbsp. Natural Creamy Peanut Butter

3 tbsp. PBfit

3 tbsp. water

1 tsp. coconut oil

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Mix pbfit with water until a peanut butter paste forms.  Add peanut butter to PBfit and mix well.  Set aside. Place chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl.  Microwave for 30 seconds at a time until melted.  Add 1 tsp. of melted chocolate to silicone molds or mini muffin tins.  Spoon 1 tsp. of peanut butter mixture on top of chocolate.  Top with 1 tsp. of melted chocolate then shake to even out.  Place in the freezer until firm. Pop out of molds and store in a zip lock bag in the fridge for up to three weeks.
